About Walton

No company in the region can match the time, experience, knowledge and equipment—the ability that Walton Corporation has—with geotechnical subsurface investigation.

Walton is detail-oriented

Walton Corporation has completed borings to support geotechnical investigations for various infrastructure projects including: roads, bridges, railroads, single-story and multi-story buildings, retaining walls, docks, wastewater disposal facilities, sanitary landfills, and sand and gravel pits, as well as borings and wells (observation, monitoring, sand wicks, piezometers, infiltration test)  in support of engineering investigations, dewatering operations, hydrologic (quality and quantity) investigations, and contamination and remediation investigations.

These subsurface investigations were conducted in all Coastal Plain and Piedmont geologic formations in Delaware within 300 feet of the land surface and in all types of soil and rock (running sands, silt, clay, fat clay, gravel, mud, indurated) with highly variable engineering and hydrologic characteristics. Most of the borings were accompanied by subsurface testing such as standard penetration tests (SPT), vane shear tests, infiltrations tests, and collection of undisturbed soils for laboratory testing using Shelby tubes through direct push and piston samplers.
